CIRN Trainee Group
CIRN currently offers Training Awards for master’s students, doctoral (PhD) students, and postdoctoral fellows who propose or support an immunization research project related to one of the eight networks. Priority is given to candidates working directly on CIRN-funded projects, with secondary priority given to trainees working on CIRN research priorities not directly related to a funded CIRN project. This funding is not for support of independent student projects.
Currently, CIRN is supporting five trainees in their research.
Daniel Gaston, Dalhousie University
Aleksandra Wierzbowski, University of Manitoba
Hasantha Sinnock, University of Manitoba
Michelle Pinto, University of British Columbia
Maryline Vivion, Université Laval
